Welcome to the

Stebbins Ancestral Society

The Stebbins Family Genealogy, otherwise known as "Da Torch", contains over 78,000 names, over 280,000 text entries, over 10,000 different surnames, as well as more than 500 pictures. The earliest birthdate in the database is 495 AD and the total number of generations is 84.. The Stebbins Ancestral Society stays in touch via an email list, and continue to share data to enhance, not only our own, but each other's lines. We do this so that we may pass the database on to future generations, like a torch, so that they will not have to endure the many frustrations and years that we have faced.

We have formed our society, "THE STEBBINS ANCESTRAL SOCIETY" so that we can be assured that our work will continue on through future generations. In order to become a member of the society, you must prove your lineage through one of our Stebbins lines.
(See membership.)

Cousins That We Are

Cousin unity is just like a ball, no start and no end. Our binding is our treasure of Family and Friendship.

Our treasure is the gift of friendship, the kind that has been granted freely one for each other.

Unity of purpose keeps our ball resilient and alive.

Strength of resolve is the assurance of our survival and is the fiber for our Family of Cousins.

In our resolve we accept our Family mission to display our understanding and kindness one to another and to perpetuate our Families as One Unit.

Not a day should pass without a sigh and a thought for this treasure, this gift of Family.

Solidarity and honor for our Cousin Family is what we shall pass on to generations yet to be our treasure of Family and Unity.

-Rodney Jerome Stebbins, 1998
